It all started with a stinky trip to the bathroom...

Look.

Sometimes life stinks.

It knows how to give you the shiddies in the worst way possible, but there's always a way to uplift yourself and keep it moving on.

That's how The Shiddie Co. started.

I'm Andrew, the mastermind behind the product. After a particularly stinky shiddie on the toilet one day, which I had just started sharing with my partner, I decided a "bathroom candle" was needed to help keep out the smell. After purchasing a few, I decided to look up how to make candles on my own, found some fragrances I thought would go well together, played around with them, and birthed the "Flush Your Shiddies" candle.

That prompted me to start playing around a little more. I had a good time with the name, but I wanted there to be something different about each of the candles, as well. 

When it came to "Flush Your Shiddies," I thought it would be fun to include messages of letting go on the back of the candle--or "flushing it down the toilet" with your waste. 

I didn't want to have the same message on each candle, and I also wanted to explore with different themes on the varying fragrances to help make the product more unique.

Then I thought about my dad, who left this earth in 2021.

When he was alive, anytime I was going through something, whether positive or negative, he would talk about "life's little lessons," which led me to create the tagline of "Making the most of life's little shiddies," because when that shiddie starts to stink, light it up, and let it go!

This process has been a labor of love for me, and I've enjoyed the feedback I've received about the candles and how their messages impact the user. I look forward to you lighting up your shiddies and hopefully letting these candles bring some smell-good back into your life.
